It looks like you waited for the crowds to clear before you packed your bag and hit the road. You didn’t have time for a proper vacation away, busy with daily chores and other obligations. Journalists say that our Labor Day, September 5, is the official end of summer. This, of course, is not true, because the Autumnal Equinox heralds the start of autumn, and this year it arrives on September 22. However, the quality of light changes almost immediately in early September, so even if you don’t live in the US and have no idea what Labor Day is, you might want to make a little trip the first week of September. If you live in Australia, Brazil, South Africa or another country below the equator, you reach the Vernal Equinox on September 22nd.
