Westside residents in urgent need of a doctor this weekend should cross the bridge. Interior Health says the Urgent and Primary Care Center at 2484 Main St. the Westbank center will have no primary care staff (doctor or nurse) on Saturday and Sunday. The clinic remains open and nurses will “support patient triage and refer patients to the Kelowna Urgent Primary Care Center or emergency department if required.” Kelowna Urgent Care Center is open daily 9:30am. – 8:30 p.m. Interior Health says people can also call 8-1-1 to speak with a nurse 24/7 “Interior Health continues to recruit more providers for the West Kelowna UPCC,” Interior Health said in a statement.
