“When we got to the scene, we were handling a possibly missing person,” Memphis Police Officer Karen Rudolph said at a news conference. “Upon further investigation, we found video showing a black SUV pulling into the area across the street from where the victim was transported.” Photos released by police show Fletcher running through the neighborhood near the University of Memphis. She was last seen wearing a pink jogging T-shirt and purple running shorts, police said in an alert. Fletcher is White, 5’6″, with brown hair and green eyes, police said. She weighs 137 pounds. The teacher’s damaged phone was found near where she was believed to have been abducted, CrimeStoppers Executive Director Buddy Chapman said in a news release obtained by CNN affiliate WHBQ. Now, the family of the mother of two is offering a $50,000 reward through CrimeStoppers for information leading to an arrest in the case, WHBQ reported. “We look forward to Eliza’s safe return and hope this award will help police catch those who committed this crime,” her family said in a statement released by Chapman. In a post on Twitter, the Episcopal School of St. Mary’s said Fletcher is a kindergarten teacher. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said in a tweet that it is also assisting Memphis police in the investigation into Fletcher’s disappearance. CNN’s Laura James contributed to this report.
