The crash happened in the area of Wilson Avenue and Cornelius Parkway, just east of Keele Street, around 9 p.m. Saturday. Paramedics transported the e-bike operator to hospital via emergency route. At 10:51 p.m., police announced via Twitter that the person died in hospital. Police said Wilson Avenue was closed in both directions for the investigation and are asking witnesses or anyone with dash-cam footage to contact them.
