A recent update on the province’s emergency alert website said there are multiple victims in multiple locations and it appears the victims are being attacked at random. In the warning issued at 8:20 a.m. CT on Sunday, they said two male suspects were believed to be in a black Nissan Rogue with Saskatchewan license plate 119 MPI. As the suspects may have access to a vehicle, RCMP have expanded the alert across the province. RCMP identify the suspects as Damien Sanderson and Myles Sanderson. Damien Sanderson is described as five feet seven inches, weighing 155 pounds. with black hair and brown eyes. Miles Sanderson is described as 6 feet 1 inch tall and 240 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Residents of the area are advised to immediately seek shelter and shelter in place. RCMP said residents should be careful when allowing others into their home and not leave a safe location. Three STARS ambulances from Saskatoon and Regina were dispatched to the scene of the stabbings between 6:01 a.m. and 6:49 a.m. The alert was first issued at 7:12 a.m. CT on Sunday and has since had several updates. Residents in the James Smith area are also advised not to approach suspicious people or pick up hitchhikers. Instead, the RCMP said they should report suspicious people, emergencies or information to 911. They are also asked not to share police locations.
