A witness who filmed the scene said the area “reeked of sewage”. Footage from another witness shows water rising to the surface. It comes as the Met office issues a yellow warning for downpour. The Met Office said: “There is a high chance that driving conditions will be affected by spray, standing water, locally gusty winds and/or hail, leading to longer travel times by car and bus. Some damage to some buildings and structures from lightning and storms is likely winds. “Flooding possible to a few homes and businesses, leading to some damage to buildings or structures. Delays in train services are possible. “Some short-term loss of power and other services is possible.”
